Nurse can influence change in health care:

To be an effective leader, one should use relational skills to build with others and gain communication.

To be influential,nurses must see themselves as professional with the capacity and responsibility to influence current and future health care delivery system.

Strenths:

1) I will strive to gain knowledge in my specialty area by futher my education and participating clinical research to strength my clinical skills to influence others.

2) I have practical skills and knowledge to be able to guide the subordinate to follow the accomplish specific task.

two areas of improvement to my skills in leading and influence change:

A)Nurse manager of ICU: 1)equal distribution of duties.2)providing quality of care.3) learning new equipment especially monitors in ICU.4) immediate care for critical conditions.eg: CPR in cardiac arrest.

B)care in casualty or emergency:

1) appropriate treatment 2) suturing based on wound 3) decision making in providing care of conditions.

Two priority strategies i will implement as professional development tools for leadership:

1) be honest and open about information.

2)someone who can inspire others to work together in pursuit of a common goal ,such as enhanced patient care.

3) when you do your best , you will get the best from your team in return .
