I am privilege to be part of healthcare sector where we get oppurtunity to work for the benefit of people and society. Recently I got oppurtunity to be part of project where we have to work on human sequencing data and predict the mutated variants that is responsible for the cause of particular disorder, where majorly deletions are seen in an particular location of the chrmosome. This project was designed by keeping in mind the ethnic group, large group of Asian patients were taken as a subject who are affected with the disorder. Our aim was to conduct a population based study and to predict the effect of particular variant in large group of people. For e.g: It's a well known establish fact that large group of population are affected with sickel cell anemia in African population. Similarly most of the marriages which were done in cansanguinity their children are affected with genetic disorders, most of the cases of miscarriage in pregnancy is seen. Due to marriage between cousin their offspring becomes the carrier of genetic disorder. This project duration was for one year and location is India.

Another project where I got to work with the team of research and development and work on the genes combination which is helpful in prognosis of early stage of breast cancer patients. Our aim was to predict set of genes which helps to diagnose cancer at 1st and 2nd stage of the progression. The duration of the project was for 2 years, mostly Indian patients were included as a subject. FFPE blocks were use for the study purpose, RT-PCR method for expression analysis was used. Bioinformatics analysis helps in the prediction of potenitial genes which play a role in breast cancer and involve in the pathway.
