As a Christian we know that each of our students are create in the image of God and that each student has a God given talent. We are to help mold and help our students to excel in their talent. There will be students in our classroom that we need that extra help to understand what is being taught and to develop social skills. Education is all about learning. It’s not always about you the teacher teaching. It’s about letting your students teach you. In the Bible Titus 2:7-8 states that” in everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.
As a teacher your first role will be to learn your students. Through your observation you will learn how your students learn and what strategies you plan to implement in your classroom. In additional through your observations you will see any students who may need to be evaluated by a team of experts to determine if you have a student who needs to be identified with a disability.
