What role does communication play in everyday leadership?
Communication plays an important role in an everyday leaderships and for any organizational success.It is an exchange of information between two or more persons.It is a way to convey our ideas,thoughts or information with other people by speaking,writing or using any other medium.It helps to maintain strong relation with team and enhance their satisfaction, also it maintains strong relationships with customer and employees by clarifying their doubts,eliminating controversies if any, which helps them to plan,organize,motivate and have overall control to the situations that results for the organizational growth.
For an effective communication,there are 7C's present,which are also known as 7 principles of communication,that helps to convey a clear and effective communication.
Its impossible to become a leader without being a great communicator.To become great communicator leader should speak out with clarity and be specific with the information that has to deliver.Leader should be very open minded and should be a great listener with great patience as he has to face many challenges while playing his role.There should be a clarity and transparency in an effective communication.Leader should have ability to set goals and plans,discuss this with team and execute them accordingly.Communication is important for executing strategy as it helps leader to perform their roles more effectively. Hence,in this way communication plays an important role in everyday leadership.
