What role does the AC generator signal play and what is it analogous to in the case of the solenoid and bar magnet?
The AC signal generated in an AC generator is an inductive process. A coil is allowed to rotate in a magnetic field so that there will be a change of flux and this change of flux will create an AC signal. Similarly, if we pull out and push in a bar magnet in a solenoid, there will be a change in flux. This flux will create an AC signal through the windings of the solenoid.
