Vitamin & mineral deficiencies can lead to poor health, especially in children's & pregnant women's. acute micronutrition weakens the immune system which in turn results poor health. Malnutrition during childhood can lead to long-term health problems, educational challenges and limited work opportunities. Micronutrition and micronutrient deficiencies are more common in refugees and displaced people, as sufficient food not readily accessible.
