a) Wellness is define as the active process of a human being to making good choices towards the healthy life. It is an approach that prevents illness and prolonged haelthy life. In case of the elderly, wellness is providing nutrient-rich- diet is the key way to boost the health and regular excercises and good habits. There are seven dimensions to measure the wellness of a human being:- (1)Physical.(2)Emotional.(3)Intellectual.(4)Social.(5)Spiritual.(6)Environmental.(7)Occupational.

Good nutrition- It is the nutrient-rich diet in which all the six categories of the nutrition is present in right qunatity. the six categories of nutrition are:-(1) carbohydrates (2) proteins (3) fats (4) vitamins (5) minerals and (6) fibres. Elderly people who eat healthy diets can reduce the risk of some diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, stroke, some cancers, and osteoporosis, reduce high blood pressure, lower high cholesterol. Making sure that seniors eat well as they need fewer calories than younger adults but the same amount of nutrients.

b) Nutritional needs change over time as the age of a person increases, the immune system becomes weak. So, to remain healthy and diseases-free nutrient rich diet is require. As you age, body's dietary needs will change. These changes will continue throughout all life stages with the requirements for calories, protein, vitamins and minerals as we grow. The physical needs of the body changing over time at different life stages and it will change as a result of economic, psychological and social aspects. for eg.elderly need more calcium and vit.D to maintain bone health, low-fat or fat-free diet, high protein diet than the younger adults.

To promote good nutrition in somene's life, the person should know how much good nutrition is needed in life and in how many ways he/she can maintain the good nutrition habits. Developing and maintaining healthy eating habits and by making a few changes in diet and taking a positive approach toward wellness, one can make healthy eating habits in a natural way of life.
