Introduction

Evidence Based Practice or EBP is the conscientious and complex decision making by the use or application of current best evidence for the patient care.And the evidence based practice is the application of best reseach evidence that has conducted by the clinical expertise or from the clinically relevent research according to the patient values and preferences.By the application of best ever evidence we can get a good outcome or offer a best quality care.

It is important to consider when planning an EBP implementationat the local level of health care system.

Need for the study

In my view,in the present health care system at the local level the application of evidence base practice is less than average,because they are unaware regarding the importance of its application.When planning an EBP implementation it is very important to understand regarding its application at the local level health care system.So it is important that as a nurse we should make an attempt to promote enthusiasm and interest in the implementation of EBP at the local level health care system

Objectives of the study

*To assess the prelevel of knowlege of nurse practitioner regarding the EBP implementation

*To evaluate the effectiveness of research regarding the EBP implementation

*To evaluate the practices followed by the nurse practioner after the EBP implementation

*To find out the assosciation between the prelevel and post level knowledge of nurse pactitioners regarding the EBP implementation with selected demographic variables

Research Hypothesis

H₁ :There will be significant difference in the prelevel and postlevel knowledge regarding the EBP implementation

H₂:There will be significant association between the prelevel and postlevel knowlege regarding EBP implmentation with selected demographic variables

Dependent variable:Knowledge of nurse practioners regarding the importance of EBP implementation

Data collected from the anecdotal records and the staff at the local level health care system

Results and discussion

The research shown that there is a improvement of knowledge among the nurses at local level health care system by the education programme regarding the importance of EBP implementation
