All of the following are true about diabetic coma EXCEPT
a. lack of thirst
b. sweet and fruity breath odor
c. vomiting
d. abdominal cramping
Option a is the correct answer as thirst of an individual will increses in a diabetic coma individual as a result of hypoglcemia or hyperglycemia in the individual. As vomiting as welll as polyuria occur in theindividual it will lead to increased thirst in the individual. So it is the answer as thirst will increses
Option b is wrong as sweet and fruity odour will be present in the individual due to increse in the ketone body production due to dysfunction in the absorptionof glucose or due to lack of glucose . Ketone body formation result in sweet smell so it is wrong
Option c is wrong ad vomiting and nausea in the individual is common as a resul of the diabetic coma condition. So it is wrong
Option d is wrong as it will occur in the individual due to increase in the ketone bodies and this ketoacidosis in the individual in diabetic coma will cause abdominal cramps along with vomiting. Vomiting will also add up for the abdominal cramps
