1. What are the most commonly used CNS stimulants? Ans : most common CNS stimulants used here are caffiene in the form of tea or coffee, then nicotine by cigarette smoking. Apart from that one can take amphetamines such as ritalin and desoxin containing methylphenidate and methamphetamine respectively. Other illegal CNS stimulant could also used such as cocaine. 2. Which of the drugs listed in the previous question’s answer is considered the second-most commonly abused illegal drug in the United States? How is it ingested into the body? Ans: Cocaine from above list is most commonly abused drug used in US which can be inhalled by means of smoking or injected directly in the body. 3. What are the adverse effects of each of the drugs listed above? Ans: frequent user gets addicted to these drugs resulting in in nervousness and insomnia. Apart from that they may show symptoms of decreased appetite. |
