Ans: An airline pilot is a specially trained worker, who bears the risk of thousands of lives. when we are discussing a pilot they are not only well trained also they are well knowledgeable engineers who had the idea not only flying planes specifically the passenger flight. As they fly the public plains they not only responsible for the life of the traveler also legally responsible for each and every risk associated with it.

so there are some of the responsibility of a pilot which make them different from other transport drivers.

1. A pilot's responsibility is added with life-saving of a traveler.

2. They can take care of emergency decisions if it is required.

3. Their decision is highly risk-oriented.

4. Guiding the staff and giving the right position of the flight is another responsibility.

5. As they fly in a high altitude so they need to be physically fit.

6. Their decision is highly risk and more open to legal action.

7. A pilot needs to be a dedicated and rational person with sense of responsibility.

8. Technical skill with the presence of mind is highly required criteria for a pilot.

Now if we are discussing the salary of a pilot it is comparatively high then the other mode of transportation drivers. The reasons are

8. Another reason for high payment is the fear of leaving one airlines to the other. Generally those who are well renowned pilots or the senior pilots they would like to join foreign airlines due to their lucrative salary. so the domestic airplanes they don't want to lose their best pilot so they are forced to hike the salary to maintain the requirement.

It has been noticed that the payment of an airplane pilot is overpaid but the airlines bounded/enforced to do so due to the competition in domestic and foreign airlines.
