ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
Objective:
To develop a nutrition lesson plan and to evaluate the plan.
Scenario:
On numerous occasions, you have overheard parents asking their
children where they want to go for dinner as they were leaving the
early childhood center in the evening. You know from talking with
the children that most often the restaurant of choice was a fast
food establishment. Because some of these children are overweight,
you have decided to initiate a nutrition education unit on healthy
and responsible eating.
1. Prepare a list of at least ten reasons why fast food restaurants have been successful in their appeal to young children.
