Infrastructure network is the software and hardware resources of network (entire) that enable network connectivity, communication, operations and enterprise management network.

It provides the communication and services path between users, processes, applications, services. Entire network infrastructure is interconnected and can be used for internal, or external communications or both.

Internal Infrastructure is one which is restricted to a defined set of users or network private to user called Internal network.

example :specific company network accessed only by the employees of company.

External infrastructure network is one that allows users of all type access.
