"Streisand effect "is a concept which explains that whenever we try to hide ,remove or sensor some kind of information this will create a ripple effect and will actually result in gaining more attention or it will get more publicized often through internet.In simple words the more attention you gain when you try to hide something or censor something.This is known as streisand effect.Streisand effect is named after Barbara Streisand an American Entertainer.When Barbera tried to suppress her images in social media it actually ended up in a different outcome.When she tried to suppress her images through legal action her fans started viewing and copying her photos more and it drawed more attention among the public.

Streisand can be related to social media and business as well.In social media the customer reviews are public.The streisamd effect becomes applicable in social media when people tries to hide some negative reviews .When someone tries to hide the negative comments or reviews it gains more public attention and people will start watching it more and it will gain more public attention.Social media can be compared to a bomb of information.When somebody tries to hide or censor something it explodes.Whenever we try to hide something in the social media which is already viewed by some people it will create more curiosity among the people to watch and share it more and this will get publicized more.
