A. When working in a clinical facility using Electronic Medical Records was your decision modified in any way by anybody close to you, either personally or professionally. What type of communication network do you use to communicate decisions to those around you?
B. what group model best fits your decision making ( Interacting, Nominal, or Delphi ) and how if at all, does your Gender affect your decision making? (I'm a Male)
Working in a clinical environment, electronic medical records
definitely provided me and understanding of a patient situation
where availability of the decision was totally made on the facts
presented in the electronic medical record. As of now no decision
has been altered in any way buy anybody close to me either
personally or professionally. I usually follow a very strong code
of conduct which includes following the guidelines of my job rather
than being emotionally influence.
Definitely these systems help me to create decisions and increases
the quality of decision as availability of information is
extensively accurate and relatively wide. This type of approvals
create better implementation of decision making in such a specific
environment with the help of decision support systems. Electronic
medical records as well as other systems which are essential for
different organisations such as healthcare information management
system is also the most important type of factors that influence
the decision making in a positive way. I follow strict guidelines
on decision making in any of the personal relations does not affect
the final decision which is used with the help of these specific
Technologies.
I would say interacting group model best fits my decision making. As I usually make decisions on the basis of the best available opportunities for the patient hence availability of the information gain by the patients and through there concern and I would say I definitely follow interacting group model.
In my specific job operations, gender does not hinder in any kind of decision making. This type of availability for making decisions. I follow the same criteria for making decisions on both of the genders and I would not say that my gender affect my decision making by any means.
