The management of our organization once increased the pay for a very few select employees. This selection was not based on the quality of their work or seniority. Other colleagues and I felt that it was an unfair action that rewarded only the ones who promoted the organizational interests. There were people who were better and more efficient at the same work and they were ignored. This incident called for an action based on justice and dissent. We expressed our dissent through a petition against the unjust action of the management. Over several discussions, the pay hike was given to other deserving employees as well.
