1. Responsibility : Ethical responsibilities are obligations to proceed in a right path which is morally correct. In our personal life we have ethical responsibilities towards our children and parents. In small to big organizations, employers have ethical reponsibilities to their employees, customers and society. An employer has the responsibility to be careful for their employees so that they can take right decisions about their career, a responsibility to respect and be careful to their customers, a responsibility to the society upon which the existence of the company depends. There should be a set of moral standards which should be followed by the employees as well as by the employer. By following the moral code of conduct the employer should treat the employees and customers fairely.
2. Integrity : From ethical point of view, integrity means moral judgement and honesty. Both employers and employees get benefited from integrity. In the workplace honesty means integrity. Honesty facilitates communication among employers, employees and colleagues. When employees are honest about their job and want an improvement in their job, in that case it is the reponsibility of the employer to assist the employees in their work. When employers are honest in taking any policy decision, they are more believable and trustworthy by the employees. In addition to honesty there is another example of integrity, i.e., confidentiality. Both employers and employees have an obligation to maintain certain information as confidential. It is a legal practice, violation of which leads to punishment and penalties.
3. Judgement : According to ethics, judgement means a decision which is ethically good or bad. In our personal life we take a lot of decisions which may be good or bad, we have to make a judgement over that. Similarly, in an organization employers have to judge their decisions whether it is morally right or wrong then can take decisions about the future career of their employees. Employers judgement should not be personal or biased.
