It deals with environmental concerns, employer-employee relationship, corporate social responsibility, gender relations etc.Apart from the traditional profit motives and organisational goals, firms are now practising strong ethics and social commitments in order to enhance public image and reputations.In the mid 21st century, business ethics and values shifts focus from authoritarianism to greater collaborations.The social and business ethics are guided by moral and political choices of organizations.
The consumer friendly attitudes, flexibility in operations, enhancing values, greater environmental concerns, promoting sustainable development, women empowerment, equal pay , elimination of discrimination, better working environment, commitment towards legal system comes under the premises of business ethics and corporate social responsibilities.
