A plan through which a job applicant identifies its career objective in a screeing process is by creating a resume.
A career objective is a personal commitment of a person towards what he/she wants to do in life. A career objective signifies the area of interest/s of a person. it is direction specific and action-oriented.
The plan through which an employer identifies the career objective of an applicant is called a resume. A resume consists of all the actions the applicant has taken to meet its career objective. It is a systematic layout whuch is expected to short and coherent.
The layout is as:
1. Introduction - Name, Address, Contact details (Contact number and Email ID)
2. Objective - it is statement which defines the attainment from your professional work.
3. Qualification - it contains a list of your academic qualification attained till date in reverse order, that is, the latest qualification achieved comes first in the list.
4. Experience and Internships- it consists the professional experience a person has in the field which may include different job titles but in a similar kind of work.
5. Skills, Certifications and Publications - these are the special talents, functions and tasks performed/ learnt to do well in meeting your objective.
6. Other Factors ( Interests and Hobbies) - List your Hobbies and other interests. it lets the employer know how active you are in other fields as well.
7. References - Mention some people who were senior to you while you were working or your teachers while you were attaining academic qualification. This is needed by the employer in confirming your background (behavior, work attitude, genuinity of professional experience).
Based on the above mentioned points, an employer identifies the career goal of an applicant.
