Ans 1-In a sexual relationship, both ther partners are responsible for birth control, because both male and female produce gamates. and with the fusion of these two gametes(sperm and egg) pregnancy occur.

Birth control methods can be used by both the sexes. Male can use condoms or can undergo vasecotomy to prevent pregnancy.

Female can use condoms, or can take contraceptive pills or cann use intrauterine device or can undergoe tubectomy for safe sex.

Ans 2- If couples can not come to any desicion then they should consult a consultant for more information. They can give more information about safe sex.

Ans 3- Cultural and religious beliefs has a vital  influence on the choices of birth control and famil sizes.

In developed countries, people are more educated about sex , contraceptive knowledge and access. they are aware of how to control unwanted pregnency or unsafe sex. So in those countries family sizes are small. on the otherhand people of underdevloped countries have less knowledge about contraceptive so, there family sizes are large,. additionally, they think that more the member of family more will be the earning.So they chose to have more children.

Religion also play a role, in some religions there is a prohibition for using contraceptive method, and people follow these roles, because of which there family sizes are large.

In some orthodox religion, having multiple children is encouraged

Ans 4- In some countries people prefer male over female child. this can be because of different reasons-

Gender roles and the division of labor for breadwinning, housework, and child-care. Males are thought to earn money for the family and females to stay at home and do household work. Because of which males are prefered.

Secondly, at the time of marriage, all the expenses has to be done by the females family , additionaly they were asked for dowry and for money by the boys family. So they have to spend a lot of money on girls marriage. Boys are seen as asset and girls as liabilty.

Thirdly, Females are not safe in todays world. Rape cases , eveteasing cases are booming.

Nowadays this gender inequality is mitigating, people are happy to have both the sexes. This may be due to education. People are more educated now, and they believe in gender equality.

Girls are more educated now and are blooming in all area of occupation from doctors to politics to working in factories, they are equal to the men.
