Find two examples you believe to be business-to-customer (B2C). Provide their URLs. When selecting your two examples, choose one which you believe works well – either from your personal experience of others (friends or family). For your second example, select an example of a bad B2C you know of that is, one you would never go to. Why did you make the choices you did? What are the essential elements of each? Describe the user experience that makes one a site that you would use vs. one that you would not.
A Business to Customer based business involves providing the offerings (goods or services) from the seller (business) to the final users of the offerings who are customers. In other words, the customers of the business, in this genre, are final users of the product which are offered by the business. Such as super market grocery shops, banking services to citizens etc. However this term is majorly in used these days for electronic businesses who provides products to final users as their customers.
One good example of the business to customer based business which is very successful these days include amazon. This electronic based giant retail company provides a number of varities of its offerings at good price. And also the after sale service is good. The information technology infrastructure has been made so much customer savy, security and privacy are being taken care of customers, marketing is done on number of platforms such as televisions and on internet etc. All these factors gives credit to its success.
another company that has not done much well in this feild is furniture.com. Failures resulted from issues like breach of security and privacy of data, low and poor maintenencae of website and poor logistic treatment as well.
