Nursing and interprofessional management related to conservative and surgical therapies for obesity:
Improving the patients choices of food habits and practices
Improving patients activities by scheduling the sports activities
Providing guidance in maintaining weight
providing support to change the patients behaviour to enhance compliance
Decreasing proportions of fat and saturated fats and energy dense food items
Planning for 3 main meals with the planned snacks
Sticking them to have regukar meal times
Help them to increase regular activity
Metabolic syndrome:
Metabolic syndrome is a condition in which cluster of symptoms present such as increase in blood pressure, blood glucose, triglycerides, body fat resulting in risk of getting cardiac diseases, stroke and diabetes

polycystic ovarian syndrome
Symptoms:
usually asymptomatic
large waist circumference is an obvious sign
Increased thirst, urination, fatigue and blurred vision
Management:
Healthy eating habits and dietary style
Physically active
losing weight and maintaining normal weight
Quit smoking
