Ebola outbreak was one of the deadliest that took thousands of lives in Africa. The outbreak was an emergency situation. The occupational categories followed a certain protocol in order to address the Ebola virus and address the emergency situation. The treatment centers were first of all set up with all the modern medical technology to identify the situation. This also helped in providing comprehensive care to the people who are diagnosed with Ebola Virus disease during the entire duration of the illness of the patient. It is important that proper isolation of the patients is needed as well as the nurse and doctors treating the virus must be adequately sterilized and safe. There must be a safe treatment facility that limits the spread of the infection.

There must be a well developed strategy by the healthcare professionals and state officials who helps in treating the patients with confirmed Ebola. The frontline healthcare facility is responsible for identifying and isolating the patients with possible Ebola infection and notifies infection control and the other state health welfare system. The individual must have adequate Ebola personal protective equipment that provides care for nearly 12 to 24 hours.

The Ebola assessment hospital is responsible for setting up all facilities as healthcare provider which receives the patient with the infection. This is followed by immediate laboratory evaluation and testing of the infection. This involves a lot of management and diagnosis to confirm and once confirmed, the patient is treated for the illness. The staff must have a sustainable plan and strategy to treat the patient.
