Cyclone Amphan came as a disaster in my state which made landfall very recently and make disaster in high altitude. One of the biggest calamities to hit my state ever which left trail of death and enormous destruction. The most affected areas are coastal areas including the state capital. Hundreds of people were put on death and homelessness and devastation is ample.

Government at various levels work intelligently. First the local bodies of state government issued advisories and started evacuating people to safe shelters. And needed food was provided for their survival. Disaster response team was at work even before the disaster. And then central government send Army officers in huge numbers to help people evacuated. And compensation and various schemes were announced by both governments.

I think the evacuation was done well. They were well aware of the consequences of the disaster in view of that huge number of families were shifted in safer areas. In post disaster the resonse team's work was commendable making things running in just few days.

Look there was complete disarray in the affected areas. Though the government worked responsibility but there are many areas we need to work on and improve. Transportation and people and food for them need to quickened. We need to improve out electricity system sustainable. Because for almost ome there was no electricity after the disaster.
