Last Sunday, I was out in my car and was about to travel around 14 hours from my native place. I am from India and the condition of roads in the rural and semi urban parts of India is a bad one.
When I was driving with a speed of around 70 kilometres per hour, which is the routine speed in India, there was another car in front of me.
The driver failed to control the car and it ran in the nearby farm and clashed with a big tree. There was a big sound that turned me into a deep fear.
But I stopped and parked my car and ran to the spot. There was no one to help.
I tried to stop a few vehicles but nobody took care. Finally, I succeeded in stopping an auto and took the two people from car to hospital.
They were bleeding fiercely. Doctors rushed and took charge of the situation. When they came out, doctors shared that there was a serious injury to driver's head. If I had become 20 minutes late, he would have lost his life.
The two people were hospitalized for a week. I contacted their family members. I left the place when family members arrived. They thanked me a lot.
I indeed experienced a sense of satisfaction and realised that we must prove to be a helping hand in the times of need.
