three reasons how flexibility exercise improve endocrine system.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Flexiblity is  the ability to move joints effectively through a complete range of motion. Flexibility training includes stretching exercises to lengthen the muscles and may include activities like yoga or Tai Chi ( type of martial arts) These exercise may be vital to the maintenance of the endocrine system, this is even more important as you age.  research shows that regular physical activity stimulates hormones throughout the body, helping maintain your body's sense of equilibrium and well-being. The adrenal medulla releases epinephrine during exercise epinephrine increases the amount of blood that your heart pumps. Epinephrine also enhances your ability to use muscles during exercise by dilating blood vessels, which lets your muscles get more oxygen-rich blood. Exercise also stimulates the enkephalins, or endorphins. These feel-good chemicals are natural hormones the body makes in response to exercise, because of this exercise produces a pronounced sense of euphoria that keeps us coming back for more. Insulin is another hormone that responds to exercise, this hormone is important for controlling metabolism  Insulin isn't released in response to exercise, however it does fall a little, this can help you lower your weight, because insulin causes the body to use glucose from the blood; when insulin levels are low, the body turns fat into energy for the cells.
