Strong artificial intelligence (strong AI) refers to a supposed machine that has mental capabilities and functions similar to the capabilities of the human brain. Strong AI does not consider the piece of software that is artificial intelligence, emulating the actions of the human brain to be different from the actions of a actual thinking and feeling human being.

Strong Artificial Intelligence postulates that a computer can be programmed to actually be a human mind. That computer is not only intelligent as a human being but also is able to perceive, belief and other cognitive states that are normally only associated with humans. In my opinion, strong artificial intelligence looks more like a philosophy rather than an actual possible reality. The idea of trying to copy a human mind will eventually be done by a human for a machine. In that case, it will only be limited to certain actions as per the programming. This can be termed as Weak Artificial Intelligence. Creating Strong Artificial Intelligence looks more like a philosophy as even the human mind is not very sure what it wants to do at a particular time for a particular task.
