Relationship of Machine Learning , Deep learning and Artificial intelligence:

Now a days the world is moving around Machine learning, Deep learning, Artificial intelligence.

The question arises here is what is the relationship between them.

Machine learning is a subset of Artificial intelligence, Deep learning is a subset of Machine learning

Machine learning – Machine is learning. Here how the machine will learn is through the historical data. For example, to predict diabetes of a patient, whether the patient is having diabetes are not will be done by training the model with previous patient’s data. Lot of algorithms available in machine learning like supervised learning, unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning.

Deep learning – Deeply learning. whenever machine learning fail to apply on complex patterns then Deep learning will be involved to solve the complex patterns. Deep learning will use hidden layers and activation function to solve the complex patterns.

Artificial intelligence -

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is usually defined as the science of making computers do things that require intelligence when done by humans.

Artificial Intelligence is the study of ideas that enable computers to be intelligent

Artificial intelligence and society

To supplement natural intelligence for example we are building intelligence in an object so that it can do what we want it to do, as for example-- robots, thus reducing human labour and reducing human mistakes

In my view :

For Humans Intelligence is no more than TAKING a right decision at right time

                           And

For Machines Artificial Intelligence is no more than CHOOSING a right decision at right time

I think Artificial intelligence is the Second intelligence ever to exist

From ancient days to till now, with the most changes in life , there will be positive impacts and negative impacts of artificial intelligence on society ,on human life as artificial intelligence continues to transform the world we live in.

What Is The Impact Of Artificial Intelligence (AI) On Society?

Challenges to be faced

• Artificial intelligence will definitely cause our workforce to evolve. According to PwC, 7 million existing jobs will be replaced by AI in the UK from 2017-2037, but 7.2 million jobs could be created. This uncertainty and the changes to how some will make a living could be challenging.
• Another issue is ensuring that AI doesn't become so proficient at doing the job it was designed to do that it crosses over ethical or legal boundaries.
• While the original intent and goal of the AI is to benefit humanity, if it chooses to go about achieving the desired goal in a destructive (yet efficient way) it would negatively impact society.
• Artificial intelligence algorithms are powered by data. As more and more data is collected about every single minute of every person’s day, our privacy gets compromised.
• Example: From social websites generating millions of records every minute, Here are privacy is important for customer. While analysing data or when predicting data by using artificial intelligence we have to take care of customers sensitive information

Positive Impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Society

1. Artificial intelligence at work places

Artificial intelligence can dramatically improve the efficiencies of our workplaces and can augment the work humans can do.

When AI takes over repetitive or dangerous tasks, it frees up the human workforce to do work they are better equipped for—tasks that involve creativity and empathy among others.

2.Health care

With AI better monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, AI has significant importance in health care domain

Machine learning, Deep learning techniques are used to detect many diseases like diabetes , heart disease and many more

AI will reduce operating cost and save money by improving operations of healthcare facilities

The true impact will be in the care of patients.

Potential for personalised treatment plans and drug protocols as well as giving providers better access to information across medical facilities to help inform patient care will be life-changing.

3. Criminal activities identification.

Facial recognition plays a major role now a days.

The way we uncover criminal activity and solve crimes will be enhanced with artificial intelligence. Facial recognition technology is becoming just as common as fingerprints.

4. For improving the business

Most of the restaurants or hotels now depending on Artificial intelligence techniques to improve business. In natural language processing sentiment analysis can be more interesting topic now a days. Because through sentiment analysis we can find where the business getting loss, and what are the places to concentrate to improve business

Artificial intelligence negative imapacts

1. AI would took all our jobs --- actual it is myth. But reality is Actually AI used in automation of many existing jobs.

But we can not say all the jobs we will loss due to AI. AI will do human work , but in order to design AI machines required again required human effort.

2. AI will be conscious - It is also myth.

Reality - a common assumption about machine intelligence is that it will be conscious - that is it actually thinks the way humans do. But we need to design AI machines which really thinks like humans by training with previous experiences.
