Solution:
It is often the case that we face certain criticism at the workplace regarding our work because of aspects that may or may not be in our control. It is quite obvious to be upset because of such criticism and we would always look to ensure that we make the most of such criticism but not always it is possible to let go of the upset feeling that we have and hence we must learn to tackle this feeling of being upset and do not let such feelings cloud our judgement. Hence, we must learn to adapt to the criticism and make the most of it.
Whenever we are upset our state of mind is not to the best of states possible and we tend to think negatively whenever we are upset because of any event. It becomes very crucial to understand that we must refrain from making any comments or providing any feedback when we are upset because that may result in our feedback being biased and it would not help us either. HEnce, having appropriate control over the way we provide feedback when we are upset is very important and we must learn to develop this habit to not cloud our judgements because of our upset mood and be rational in our thinking.
Every criticism, whether it is acceptable or not has a power to make us worried or upset. This is normal human tendency and it needs to be avoided for being effective at workplace. If we are not able to control it it can become emotionally draining and can have drastic effect on the person and the employability of the person. HEnce, one must learn to avoid such mental roadblocks and learn to take the criticism with a pinch of salt and try to learn from it at every experience.
