A health is a state of physical, mental and social wellbeing and it is not merely an absence of disease or inframity. It is a optimum level of physical and mental condition in which people can perform there normal daily life and contribute to there community.

Illness = illness is the deviation from normal health. It is a poor state of body,mind and spirit, in which a person can not perform his/her function of daily life and unable to contribute to there community.

Disease = It is an abnormal process affecting structural and functional condition of body. It may be define as a pathological process having characterised by a set of signs and symptoms and may be affect the whole body or a part of it, due to known or unknown etiology.

Phenomenology of illness = Illness is the reaction of the body to disease. Illness is the experience & participation of disease within socio-cultural context and include spirituality and religion. Disease is the change in stuctural and functional condition of the body that causes illness. In health- illness continuum in lill side there is many steps to progress a disease i.e. nutral point then monor illness, then mejor illness (poor health) next, sever illness and atlast death occurs. And this is the total disease condition.

Disease and illness are two things that mutually affected and they often occurs together. Disease is something that needs to cure and illness is that condition of body that need to manage. So, disease and illness are phenomenologically different term and exists mutually in body and hamper normal health.
