Dark side personality traits are narcissism, psychopathy and Machiavellianism .

This was experienced by one of my friends in his job , in a startup. Everything was all fine in his organisation but then his head resigned and came a new leader who was literally over ambitious and didn't believe in reality . Within 2 days of joining she came and ordered her expectations out, which initially felt very good. But she clearly failed to realise that it is a startup and there are various limitations to be looked at. She was way too interested in applying HR analytics, that is a good thing but only when you have such resources, she kept on forcing her current staff to learn analytics without offering any support. She fired the person responsible for payroll because he didn't work like a puppet what she expected , and she fired him straightforward although their payroll was manual and he was the only one who had knowledge. She gave this responsibility to my friend and he had no experience in that domain , she just directly instructed him to learn without any support. She gave workload like machines to people , she called them up at midnight and instructed to work. She promised to deliver to her superiors without realising the capacity of her own department and later forced them to work . If the employees went to ask some doubt she would just ignore and scold .

Because of her such approach the attrition of her department spiked up.
