(B)This also leads to poor economic development of affected communities.

These issues matter because they lead to several long term issues such as crime, corruption as well as poverty in affected communities.

Two long term consequences are:

(A)Poverty of the affected people which will further make the lives of these people pathetic.

(B)Sense of distrust and agitation in the minds of affected people against the partiality of system as well as governance which is not a good sign for democracy in the long term.

3. Can explain why it’s important for police officers to be impartial, in terms of promoting community unity, facilitating information gathering, and contributing to officer safety?

It is important for police officers to be impartial because then and only then people can have faith in the law and order. This is necessary to promote peace as well as prosperity in the society by mitigating crime as well as differences among people.
