• The following are some of the strategies used to include community members in the development and management of public health initiatives.
• Every community will be having a leader who has a power to control the community.Also,the members of the community follow him and his rules.So,engaging and establishing relations with the community leader will help in developing public health initiatives.
• This is acheived by educating the community leader,regarding the health condition of that community and advantages of developing public health initiatives like conducting seminars,conduction medical check ups,conducting immunization programs.
• Identifying and recruiting people from the community as volunteers who are literate,aware of the diseases or illness prevailing in that community,have interest in community development ,nurses,paramedics and other health care professionals.So,with the help of these volunteer members we can develop schemes and strategies to engage community members.
• Money is important for developing public health initiatives.So,engaging with private pharmaceutical companies and town mayors or state governor will help in securing funds.
