Every human being has the right to live with dignity and in the same way they have the right to die in a more dignified way. This would mean that when one likes the physician to administer euthanasia or one chooses not to take any medicines thus opt for passive euthanasia, it should be respected and it should be facilitated. One of the most important reasons for doing this is because rather than making one suffer in pain although there is no hope for survival. This would mean that it would liberate the patient from undergoing severe and unbearable pains without any scope for survival. Secondly, all these vital resources could be redirected to someone who has the hope of survival but who doesn’t have the means for survival. Finally, it would help those who care for the patient to save their money, resources, time and energy and relieve them from episodes of sadness. So, in my opinion, euthanasia would become the norm of the society and law of the land.
