The organizational site is specifically dedicated to recognizing and meeting the needs of the entity. It is much distinct from the customer site. As the latter is dedicated to the needs of the customers. It is what the organization wants the customers to see about them. Also, it provides everything want they need too.

  • The organizational site is dedicated to internal affairs, while the customer site is the customer's access to what they are being provided.
  • Organizational site is meant for ongoing operations while the customer site is for personal use.
  • The customer site gives knowledge to customers while organizational site keen updates to its human resources and stakeholders.

Yes, of course. A separate organizational and customer site is a necessity. Otherwise, the information would be scattered as well as it would be delivered to the unneedy ones. Also, it would be chaos and customer satisfaction can't be met. The data wouldn't be precise as well as convincing. Thus, creating a need for separate organizational and customer site.
