HCFS refers to the 'high fructose corn syrup" And most of the Americans are using such HCF containing foods. These foods having high dietary fructose increase the energy level and increase the adipose fat level in the body and hence contribute to the increase in body weight or body weight gain occurs. They also affect the levels of the insulin and leptin hormones in the body and disturb the overall physiology of the body and contribute to the weight gain. Americans are widely using HCFS containing foods like sweet candy, soda, canned foods, and fortified foods over the other available healthier option. This is dominant in their dietary habits and it had contributed to the temporal incidence of obesity in the huge population in the America. HCFS significantly increase the level of liver fats and thus is linked with obesity. It also triggers the complications of many serious diseases or disorders like diabetes and heart diseases.
