1. Oatmeal. Oatmeal is a hot cereal made from broken-down oat groats. People eat it mixed with hot water or milk to give it a smooth and pleasant consistency.
fish: fish is a good food for the people with diabetes.
2. The oatmeal is a good food to control blood glucose level. The glycemic index (GI) is a way to estimate how foods will raise the blood glucose. The higher the number, the higher the food raises blood glucose. oat meal have less GI score that is 55 and less chance to raise the blood glucose level. it also contains B-glucans, which reduce glucose adn insulin responses after meals. it is a fiber rich food and hence it aid in the control of blood glucose. it is a good food in the planet with good nutritional content.
Fish and suitability in a diabetic diet. Fish is a good food for people with diabetes. Protein provides some of our energy needs and omega 3 may help our heart health. ... Scientists and researchers have hypothesised that consumption of fish may reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
3. diabetes is a disease in which the level of the glucose in the blood is elevated due to the body’s ability to produce or respond to the hormone insulin is impaired which lead to abnormal metabolism of carbohydrates .
4. Risk factors for developing diabetes are several.
for type 1 diabetes: family history, infections or illness, and disease of the pancreas.
in the case of type 2 diabetes: family history, sedentary life style, obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, pregnancy, age etc.
5. concerns regarding maintenance of blood glucose, what kind of food to be included in the diet, what all kind of food to be avoided, what all precautions should be taken while going out, complications of diabetes, how can i control diabetes, do i want to take insulin life long, does it effect my functional level, does exercise have good impact on my diabetes etc.
6. does exercise have good impact on diabetes?
sure. but it should be like walking, cycling, yoga, swimming etc. this can maintain a healthy body and there by reduce the obesity. physical activity is an important component of your treatment plan. It's also important to have a healthy meal plan and maintain your blood glucose level through medications or insulin, if necessary. ... In either case,exercise can reduce the glucose in your blood. Exercise increases insulin sensitivity and helps your muscles pick up sugars from the blood. This can lead to reduced blood sugar levels.
