Yes,As the need of protecting and promoting health of the
nation, the health care providers are working hard and leaving their
personal life even.
Its not that they are exceeding in wages, but also improving the
health status of the public which indirectly produces the
productivity of the country.
The role of advanced practice clinicians are;
*ARNP(Advanced registered nurse practitioner)-as ARNP
*examine patients and dianose based on the historyand physical
assessment,
*admit, manage and discharge patients from hospital,
*order,collect,perform and interpret diagnostic tests,
*manage health care by identifying, developing, implementing and
evaluating a plan care,
*prescribe therapies and medical equipment
*prescribe medication when necessary,
*refer patients to other health care providers, services or
facilities.
PA's (physician assistants)-are cost-effective substitutes for
physician, with similar outcomes in primary care ,and orks under
supervision of a doctor.
Advanced practice paramedics-Nurse anesthetist,Nurse medwives,Nurse
practitioner and physician assistant are qualified health care
professionals who provide care and treatment under supervision of a
doctor.
As helth care demands have increased in United states due to
shortage of physicians, there has been a shift toward more
independant inpractice.
hence the worth and wages of the physicians not decrease the
collaboration of the ARNP,PA and Advanced practice nurses.
