Compare and contrast two examples where the "persuasion" was employed and one example where it was not. What is the outcome?
Persuasion can be said as a term used to influence. It's a leadership quality used to motivate or influence a team to believe that the way and ideas shown are best and the work they do will matter. Persuasion can be said as preparing the roadmap for the team to follow.
Effects of persuasion :
1)The team works together.
2)There is a set goal for the team.
3)They know what to do and how to do it.
4)Clear communication is there which avoids conflict,
5)efficient and effective utilization of human resources is possible.
6)Even in the absence of the leader the team works efficiently as there is a division of work and coordination.
7)Persuasion is individual-based it can work for some and cannot work for others.
8)False persuasion can be disastrous and even harmful.
9)Persuasion doesn't follow one strategy fits all.
10)Persuasion can create dissatisfied customers
For example when you educate a customer regarding your product benefit with the help of competitors analysis. When you present the analysis means you are persuading a customer to buy your products and you make your product superior. Persuasion can convert a customer into a potential customer and a potential customer into a loyal customer. In same way when persuasion is not there you simply present your product to the customer how he or she will come to know that your product is superior. The customer will simply listen and will move forward. Without making a customer realizing that what they are losing it's difficult to attract them towards yourself.
Another example is of advertisements: All ads are persuading . Taking any ad right from cosmetics to cars to finance and insurance. All are providing so much of ideas to the customer. No advertisement means no awareness and this can cause less customer base. Persuasion creates impact and in business impcat is very important factor. The connection is very much required.
