Apply the three characteristics of Perkin’s smart schools by describing several organizational structures, or common routines, that once established might lead to the type of school Perkins identifies as smart.
David Perkins published a book in 1992. In his book he revealed some misguided student's and teacher's behavior in a school. He throws some light on methods of improving the management, interaction and behavior of teachers, students and parents to improve the organizational environment. He emphasize more on building smart schools for students. In his view we can make schools smart by providing opportunities of better teaching and learning. For this he defined three broad characteristics for a smart school.
Informed = According to this point, the teachers students and the administration should have the deep knowledge of learning phenomenon. They should know how it works better. Teacher should know the thinking process of students.
Energetic = The smart schools require godd positive energy in their campus. There should be all positive vibes through which students get motivated to perform good in classes and their academic.
Thoughtful = The teachers and the administration should have very creative and thoughtful ideas to teach students. As mush as thoughtful environment, the school has, better will be the learning and teaching.
