BKT stands for Bind, Torture and Kill. It has got psychological , biological and social issues . They are :
Psychological :
1. BKT killer , are commonly psychopaths . They are the serial killers , i.e. they keep on killing people having no reason one after the other.
2. They have no emotions , and tend to seek saddistic pleasure by killing, beating them. They derive excitement , lust , and similar kinds of emotion etc.
3. They might have a history in their childhood days. They generally tend to have a disturbed childhood , i.e. a traumatic one. Eg : The father of BKT KILLER was sort of abusive towards them . This severly affects the person.
4.Speaking from a freudian point of view , suppresion could also be the factor which led to him to turn into a BKT KILLER . Animal instinct , was very much present inside him , which turned him into an insane . This led him to commit actions which were extreme. i.e. killing , torturing people . This behaviour , in fact satisfied him .
However , Childhood days / Days of nurturing a child plays an extremely important role in the development of a child. This makes a psychological impact on children.
Social
BKT KILLERS suffer from a detachment disorder. They do not like to socialise with people. They tend to isolate themselves . Generally , they tend to mimic the activities which is criticised by the contemporary society. Serial killers tend to target a section of society , who are vulnerable . eg : hospital and elderly people, migrant workers ,etc . Being tolerant towards the behaviour and attitude of violent crime , increases the rate of serial killers .
According to Sociologists , serial killing has increased the scope of homicide . Homicide is the act of killing one person by another one .
When a person commits crime in a society , it is so that he/she is deviating himself/herself from the given social norms . But when the person do so , he somewhere tends to neutralise it . Eg : When a girl wears a short dress , and travels at night . Person out there , think the girl wants herself to get raped , as wearing short dress is an indicator of it . Hence , they (criminals) think she needs to be raped . Rather they should be rewarded than giving punishment . This is their thought process.
Addiction to drugs and alcohol , gambling , pornography, etc does not keep them away from boredom. Repeatedly seeking activities in all this matters , tends to bore them easily . Hence , they tend to indulge in excitements where they can seek pleasure in a much stronger and larger way .
This kind of behaviour is deviant in nature.
Biology
It is observed that serial killers have a tendency of depression, which results in violent crime.
