How do children benefit from physical education in school? When you were in school what type of physical education was provided for you? If you have children has it changed and how? 2 to 3 paragraphs
Physical education is one of the most important aspects of education and is very beneficial for the child. Research on physical education in school has shown that physical activity enhances the cognitive functions such as attention memory and learning, and this in turn helps the students learn better and perform better in academics. Adolescents who participate in physical exercises have also shown good health in the cardiovascular profiles. Physical activity has been linked to the effective executive functioning, and the executive functioning is responsible for understanding complex information at school such as in mathematics. Apart from this, it has been shown to have multiple physical health benefits, such as increased bone strength, agility and stamina.
During my school days we had to participate in various sports, and not just only one. We were taught about many sports and how to play them. There was a gym class and then there was a outdoor games class. I enjoyed outdoor games, and i was also part of the table tennis team. I have a child, but now in various schools the importance of physical education has gone down. He rarely has a a physical education class and is not aware of most of the sports. The school concentrates mostly on academics and not on physical education.
