What are three ways that HR managers can prevent sexual harassment in the workplace (List and provide an example)
The HR manager can prevent sexual harassment in the workplace by -
1. The HR manager can adopt various policies in the organisation which prevent the organisation from sexual harassment. The system should describe everything related to harassment. it should mention the discipline which needs to be maintained. Otherwise, it results in the fire any wrongdoer. For example - a manager can make a policy that anyone who would be found guilty will be fired immediately and also a policy complaint will be charge.
2. the manager should raise awareness among all the employees to prevent the harassment and clear everyone that anyone who is facing harassment can feel safe to complain. For example - if a girl who is being harassed by two boys and they boys threat her if she complains about that to anyone, then they will kill her. So, manager should make everyone clear to raise the issue immediately nothing will happen to her.
3. manager should implement zero-tolerance policy by saying that everyone should clear there is a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment in the organisation. Anyone who is found guilty will be immediate faces the consequences. For example - if a person found guilty and he apologises for that, then his apology will not be enough.
