It has become common knowledge that some people especially students sometimes end up postponing very important activities without considering how it could have negative impacts on their lives. In your opinion and using tangible examples, explain four major reasons that can push the impulsive procrastinator to engage in procrastination.

Major reasons of that can push the impulse procrastinator to engage in Procrastination are as follows-

lack of motivation- lack of motivation serves as one of the major factors why people tend to procrastinate their current tasks which may be very important to them in the real world by replacing them with activities or things which are not that relevant or important.

Lack of need- a lack of sense of need can cause de-motivation in achieving any kind of task or activity to be fulfilled specially within a given period of time because the individual is not able to relate him or herself with the requirement of the activity.

Locus of control- if the locus of control for an individual is not internal and it is present externally then the individual will not have control over his own activities and might not be able to force his own self to do things which are important to him or herself.

Conditioning- one of the reasons behind repeated procrastination is that individuals start to get conditioned towards the habit of not doing a particular work when it is supposed to be done because the great condition to a pattern of doing things letter and getting away with them in most cases. It can be seen for example that individuals seem to change their habit when they encounter a life threatening life changing situation because of procrastination such as suspension from college.
