With the increasing risk of violence in the society, a bold move is needed to establish a radical change to tackle violence in society. The following few steps are important one. 1. Social media usage has an inspiring impact to submit posts, everyone can spread the message by clicking a button. Youth doesn't need mass media to voice their opinions. 2. Reporting — Report photos that exploit girls and young women when we see them on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram. We must report pictures that abuse girls and young people.3. Be media literate and skeptical — The media frequently use photos of violence against women also objectifies girls and children to sell goods. If we see an advertisement undermining the code of respect for women, we must write or e-mail to the company and boycott their goods. 4. Interrupting homophobic and transphobic language — Words are strong, especially when spoken by people who influence others. We live in a culture that uses language to put down girls and women. When girls and women are considered inferior, treating them with less regard and denying their rights becomes easier. It can change the way we talk, we think. 5. Consider our course of action in cases where either people we meet or strangers are violent and engage in inappropriate conduct. Often, interrupting and preventing violence becomes better when we act to avoid it and how we handle the problem beforehand. 6. Recognize the role of gender in violence- While boys and men experience abuse, it is important to note that most victims of abuse are female and most of the offenders are boys and men. 7. Avoid Victim Blaming — Don't condemn girls and women for wanting to dress or judge their conduct. Violence cannot be avoided by limiting girls' freedoms. It allows abuse to occur only when the offenders are invisible, and the witnesses remain silent. 8. Call gender abuse what it is — not bullying — Using the word bullying to mark girls and women harassment hides the reality of what's going on. If someone we meet at school encounters gender abuse in a romantic relationship or from their peers at school, we can avoid further occurrence of violence by correctly identifying it, stop spreading gossip against the victim. 9. Educate oneself on the origins of violence — Violence toward girls and women derives from patriarchal superiority and patriarchal socialization. We should know the origins of abuse against women and children. Through reading books and papers, forming a group at school and completing any available training improves women's crime awareness. We should be able to differentiate the myths and reality of gender abuse and recognize how our culture condones it. 10. Creating safe spaces to address gender violence — We should build a forum where we can share our beliefs and experiences freely and help our peers. 11. Confronting one's own self and thoughts- Focus on our values and asking one's own self why we have such views, acts, and opinions can definitely increase our awareness. We should be frank, accept our mistakes, and commit to improving our thinking and behavior. 12. Stop stereotyping male and female roles — Social roles and expectations can influence a man's relationship decisions. Examining one's social position and finding ways of non-violently sharing feelings will help build deeper and more meaningful interpersonal relationships. 13. Remembering that violence is an option- We shouldn't apologize for friends and peers for their offense. Avoid endorsing the notion of mental illness, lack of anger management skills, alcohol and substance use, stress, etc. 14. We need to be compassionate- If girls tell you about abuse they've witnessed in their lives, we should believe them. Girls find a report of rape or violence exceptionally unusual. We may be the first one she's asking for help. In such situations, we should first trust her and respect her voice, without being judgmental. 15. Be aware of girls and women's resources—Support girls and women by providing information about where they can get more help and protection. We should familiarize ourselves with girls and women's services in our neighborhood, including women's shelters, therapy shelters and health-care organizations. We must set an example for supportive influence for local girls through exchanging knowledge and help.
