Do you think there is more of a connection between major life events and your health? Or have you observed more of a connection between microstressors and your health? Now, make a list of the major behavioral risk factors that apply to you. Are you laying the foundation for a lifestyle disease?
Yes, i feel that there's a deeper connection between the major life events and my health. On other hand, the microstressors do not impact the health in a much extent.
In my personal life, i have come across two major life events that indeed impacted my health out of which the second event is a recent one.
I lost my sister in accident when i was an adolescent. This gave me a huge setback. I required years to come out of it. The second incidence occured with me. I am suffering from blood cancer. The treatment is going on. But there's a disturbed state of mind.
In the comparison of these major life events, the microstressors have never lead to ill effects on my health, i feel.
But the major two life events that i illustrated above have brought with them a lot of negativity in my life. High blood pressure, stress, worries, anxiety, irritation, lack of confidence, weight increase, disturbed career and monthly medications are the allied aftermaths. I am addict of smoking and alcohol. Therefore, i am unable to lead a sound life and i feel that i am laying the foundation for a lifestyle disease.
