Policy decisions are those that determine how we will act in the future. The two examples of policy decisions are;Taxation and income inequality. and housing and urban planning policies.
1. Taxation and income inequality.
Income is considered as one of many drivers of population health and health inequity. The distribution of the income is shaped by general economic conditions, and bt federal and state policies.most notably taxes and government transfer programs. In many states, a federal program is augmented through benefits or eligibility expansions. The federal government increased the minimum age.and has found that it can reduce the health inequslity.
2.the federal government supports housing affordability through-in-kind means tested prgrammes.and through the tax codes. The challenges faced are;housing payments were disproportionate which led to greater concentrations of poverty and racial segregation. There are number of housing policies and found out that number of people have healthy living in more advantaged neighbourhoods.
