1- Suppose you were tasked with developing the customer service qualities required for an external customer service role. Provide 4 customer service characteristics or skills you would require if you were tasked with hiring for an external customer service role.
1A- Explain why you believe these 4 qualities are important/should be required?
1) customer service is a challenging role, it involves dealing with customers directly and helping them get what they want and also resolving their issues. Most important characteristics or skills required for customers service role involves interpersonal and influential skills, along with the product knowledge.
customer service characteristics or skills I would require if need to hire an external customer service role;
* Interpersonal skills, viz, effective communication, listening skills, presentation ability, and positive behaviour.
* Empathetic and respectful characteristics.
* Emotional abilities, and patience.
* Product/service understanding and it's specifications.
1A) these qualities are required to serve the customers with high quality and satisfy their needs, by Letting them know that they are valued and are respected by the firm. This will retain them and convert them into loyal customers. A new candidate needs to have all the qualities or skills, that he can use it to handle and create a business relationship with external customers and close the deals that increases the profitability and customer base.
