An organizational culture is the set of ethics, norms, beliefs, practices, etc. that an organization adheres to. It is about the relations and bonding the workers/employees and the employers share. It is very important for an organization to have a good organizational culture, to take care of the safety of its employees and workers. A safety management system is basically a system that manages the safety in a given organization. It deals with all the ways and techniques that an organization uses to make sure that the people that work there, are safe from illness and injuries. This system is used most commonly in the industries that involve high risks, such as production factories, aviation, etc. The organizational culture matters so much because, what the people of the organization believe, when it comes to the safety of the workers, tells a lot about the organization. An organization with a good and positive culture will always put the safety of its employees first. The safety management system is very much a part of the organizational culture and it always gives the overview of the organization as a whole. When an organization has a positive set of ethics and believes that every employee associated with it is very precious to the organization, the implementation of safety management system is successful, as it efficiently manages the risks and hazards that might occur in the workplace and has the best solution for any kind of accidents or mishap that might take place.
