Answer:-
The Path-goal theory focuses on how the leader motivates its followers. This is fixated on the follower's motivation in achieving goals. There are three components to observe: The leader's style, characteristics of the subordinates, and the work setting. Simply explained, with the path-goal theory there are characterized goals between the leader and the follower and the leader clarifies a path, removes obstacles, and provides support for the follower so as to obtain the goals.
The kind of leadership that needs to be used is heavily subject to the follower; in this way there is not one ideal sort of leadership, yet choosing an inappropriate kind can be detrimental to the follower's motivation. For example, if work is mind boggling yet ambiguous and the worker prefers to have a great amount of clarity and structure, it would be necessary for the leader to be order in assisting with giving clarity and standards to the task.
